Your By Shea Senior session all starts with a consultation. Let’s meet at the studio or chat over the phone to find out what will make your session — perfectly you.
We added frequently asked questions below. Please email or call if you need further help!
Q) Where will my session take place?
A) Location really determines the “feel” of your session. We can start with a fun spot downtown, in a colorful outfit, then switch it up by heading out to a gorgeous open field or park to get a natural setting. Many clients love to take photos at their home, even in their room listening to their favorite records. After getting to know you, we can come up with your perfect locations together!
Q) What should I wear?
A) Personalized styling suggestions for you will be provided based on your location. We will go over specific ideas and tips during your consultation. Feel free to email or text pics of your outfit choices to keep everyone on the same page. You should also check out our Pinterest page for more ideas to get you started: What to Wear — Seniors
Q) Do you offer hair and makeup?
A) I can recommend some of the best hair and makeup artists in town! I have a special rate for my clients with Sara Hendrix, of Bella by Sara, for airbrush makeup! For more details visit her website here.
Q) How much does a session cost?
A) Your session cost will consist of two parts—the sitting fee & the portraits you decide to purchase. Your sitting fee is $300. Packages including prints and digital files start at $450—the Senior Pricing guide will be in your welcome email or you can request to see one here.
Q) When and how do I pay you?
A) The sitting fee of $300 is required to secure your session date. You may pay with check or PayPal. Once you receive your gallery link, simply add your package or a la carte items to your shopping cart and they will be available by instant download or delivered to your door!
Q) When will I get to see my pictures?
A) For a typical session, turnaround time is up to 2 weeks. You will be given a specific time frame at your session. You can view your photos in your personal online gallery and also request an appointment for an ordering consultation in the studio, to help with wall galleries, book orders and more! We are here to help!
Q) Where should I print my digital images? Can I order announcements?
A) We LOVE for clients to print their photos!! Our favorites vendors, for best quality, are:
Graduation Announcements: www.minted.com + www.tinyprints.com
Prints and Products: www.mpix.com + www.artifactuprising.com
