new orleans engagement session | whitney + austin

I’m heading to Fairhope, Alabama today to photograph one of my best friends weddings… I couldn’t be happier for these two or love them more. I met Whitney on one of my first days at Southern Living. I can’t believe it’s been 5 years. As I was looking through their engagement photos we took in New Orleans, I got a little sappy. A lot sappy. I mean, I’m at weddings ALL the time and don’t usually get too emotional… but… Read more »

Then off to the coolest and… Read more »

Alex | Class of 2010

I really loved photographing this girl… so funny, obviously ultra-gorgeous and easy to photograph, with a casual coolness about her. I must admit that I’m a tiny bit jealous that she gets to spend the next four years in Birmingham and has all those fun memories ahead of her starting college this fall. She’s heading to Samford–just a few streets over from my old house in Homewood. Soak it up, Alex… and have the BEST time at prom this weekend!… Read more »

helen + john | arrington vineyards engagement session

Oh how I looked forward to photographing these two. :) What could be more fun than driving out to Arrington Vineyards, sipping wine on a wednesday… and cracking up the whole time? (Plus getting treated to dinner at Cabana afterwards, YUM!) I had the best afternoon with my sweet friends and CAN’T WAIT for their wedding in Montgomery, AL next month! Be sure to view more of the session and slideshow here.
