This gorgeous couple is getting married this weekend and I just must share some favorites from their engagement shoot in downtown Nashville. Casey and Daniel were so easy to shoot and seemed like naturals in front of the camera. They chose dressier clothing, which worked perfectly with the surroundings and was very fitting for their personalities. My sweet friend and photographer, Courtney Wix, helped out with the shoot and we get to cover the wedding together, too! It makes the day… Read more »
I love Lookout Mountain. It’s like a fairytale dreamland. Little mountain cottages, kids walking to school, a breathtaking view of not only Chattanooga below, but 6 other states! I was so excited to hear that Cassey and Ryan wanted me to photograph their wedding at Grandview! It’s an insanely beautiful setting for such a special celebration. The mother, Courtney, is one of my best friends and she said from the beginning she wanted Preston’s birth documented. I have photographed in the delivery room during labor for another friend, but didn’t get to witness the actual birth. I was nervous and… Read more »
Today, it’s all about the Benjamins. The future Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin. (this will not get old and i’ll use it over and over for their wedding, too!) We had such a fun afternoon exploring all over Bethany’s family farm including perfectly ‘rustic’ remains of a neighboring home, so close to collapsing that we were scared to even breathe on it, haha. I’m so excited about Bethany and George’s upcoming wedding at the historic Madison Street Methodist Church and reception… Read more »
