This Saturday marks the beginning of wedding season and the end of any possible spontaneity… just til the end of June. What did I decide to do with these past several weeks of freedom? One of my favorite things about photographing such important times in people’s lives is that once I get connected with a family, I end up getting to know and photograph everyone! I met this adorable little mama at her brother’s Sewanee wedding last summer. Whitney, her husband and mom braved some of the chilly wet weather earlier this winter and did an outside belly session. I absolutely love photographing newborns… especially when I have the chance to capture them and their proud parents in their own environment. You might hear this called a ‘lifestyle’ session… it’s uniqueness is photographing your LIFE as it is, usually in your home or a place special to you, instead of more posed and in a studio environment.
