I found out on the good ole Facebook this morning that it’s National Ag Day, and it reminded me about this fun shoot last fall with Long Vue Farms in Allensville, Kentucky. One of my favorite things about my job is the VARIETY of subjects I get to photograph. I had the best afternoon being toured around by good friend and brilliant designer, Lorilee Rager, with Thrive Creative, and her sister, Mandy Bryant with Long Vue. We ventured all over their farm via truck beds, gator beds and finished the evening shooting from a lift at least 40 feet in the air, which seemed like 400 feet in the air to me! It was most definitely a new experience directing giant harvesting combines from above with a walkie talkie, and SO FUN! I’m so excited to return next harvesting season and spend more time with these dear hardworking folks.
