a friday feature: brides boutique photo shoot

Yes, it’s friday night and I’m trying to whiddle down my never ending to-do list. Don’t feel sorry for me, though…it’s my own fault. There are just too many exciting things going on! The latest house project of painting diamonds on my sunroom floor, working on my sister’s wedding for next weekend, lots of super fun shoots and weddings to edit…oh my! Blogging about all my adventures seems to end up on the backburner every week, but I promise to catch up soon on every single blogless shoot from this summer and fall! Until that perfectly productive day, though, how about a little friday feature?

I’ve been wanting to share this collaboration for months now! I was invited to team together with Brides Boutique and TurningPoint Productions to feature the latest trends in wedding gowns for ClarksvilleBrides.com–a database of local wedding vendors, covering anything and everything to assist the Clarksville and Hopkinsville Bride. This great resource even provides an outlet for local brides to chat about their own wedding planning… so fun to see some of my own brides blogging away about their big day!

THE SHOOT: We started the steamy afternoon at my parents farm, in my mom’s salon, with hair by Lindsey Halliburton (of Prodigy Salon) and makeup by Vikki Gitlin.

You can tell Imani and Larsa were having a blast being supermodels… along with Sarah and Lindsey, below, these girls were such troopers in the hot, itchy, insect infested field. Even when I made them lay down in the wheat, they were still workin’ it.

Then we all headed downtown to The Warehouse for the wedding gown portion…

And in honor of “Clarksville’s #1 Rock n’ Roll Bar”… Rock on, little sis. ;)

Be sure to check out more of Imani, Sarah, Larsa and Lindsey’s modeling skills here… currently featured on ClarksvilleBrides.com. A special thanks to Beth and Danielle at TurningPoint for putting together the multimedia video and Carly Rager for coordinating the event. I can’t wait to work with you guys, again!
