Wow. Let’s just start with how amazing birth is. Life. The miracle of a new little person coming into this world just blows my mind. This was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. The mother, Courtney, is one of my best friends and she said from the beginning she wanted Preston’s birth documented. I have photographed in the delivery room during labor for another friend, but didn’t get to witness the actual birth. I was nervous and excited and didn’t know what to expect. I thought to witness a real life birth before ever having a baby of my own would surely scare me away forever! It surely did not. I saw it all. Everything. You can’t NOT watch. It was amazing and beautiful and I wouldn’t have missed it for anything… well… almost anything… Preston arrived early that next morning at 3:10am and I had a wedding to shoot that day, so the clock was ticking! It was the full circle of super important days that weekend and I’m so glad that nobody’s was missed!!!
