sneak peek: Manry + Justin

As promised… here are a few of my favorite shots of a gorgeous wedding in Sewanee, Tennessee this past weekend. Even after touring the gothic cathedrals in Europe, I dont know if I’ve seen a prettier church than the All Sanits’ Chapel. And thank goodness we got a little lost on the way, because we ended up at this unbelievable overlook, behind the giant white cross. I can’t wait to share more… a big congrats to Manry and Justin!


it’s wedding season…

And I’m elbow deep in it! Almost half the year has gone by… where have I been? Hm… maybe traveling everywhere from Indianappolis to the Mobile Bay, and having a blast doing the most fun job, ever! I know it’s so hard to wait the normal 4 to 6 weeks to get your wedding photos back… so my new goal is to try to post at least a couple sneak peeks after each wedding. On my way to Fairhope, I stopped through Birmingham for bridal portraits, tying up loose ends at Portico and to capture a few shots of my cousin’s brand new baby girl: Josie Catherine. She definitely takes after her mom… even before she was born, you could spot her dimples in her ultrasound! And it was good to see that my cousin, Brian came around to play the daddy role, just right. :) He used to get out of diaper changes… Read more »

Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Arnidis! Just a few details from the beginning of this year’s wedding season… The ceremony was held in the gorgeous Cantebury Methodist Church and reception at Park Lane in Mountain Brook Village.
