Alex | Class of 2010

I really loved photographing this girl… so funny, obviously ultra-gorgeous and easy to photograph, with a casual coolness about her. I must admit that I’m a tiny bit jealous that she gets to spend the next four years in Birmingham and has all those fun memories ahead of her starting college this fall. She’s heading to Samford–just a few streets over from my old house in Homewood. Soak it up, Alex… and have the BEST time at prom this weekend!… Read more »

helen + john | arrington vineyards engagement session

Oh how I looked forward to photographing these two. :) What could be more fun than driving out to Arrington Vineyards, sipping wine on a wednesday… and cracking up the whole time? (Plus getting treated to dinner at Cabana afterwards, YUM!) I had the best afternoon with my sweet friends and CAN’T WAIT for their wedding in Montgomery, AL next month! Be sure to view more of the session and slideshow here.

Just wanted to share a yummy shot or two… starting with a couple of the prep (and TOSS!). Craving pizza now… lunch break! :)

Lauren and I go way back… big buds since elementary school… and even from first grade, I knew… Read more »

part two | eight states in eight weeks

PART ONE HERE in case you missed it! So where was I? Not much… just heading to VEGAS to visit the Alpha Kappa Cameras (and maybe squeeze in some photo-knowledge at WPPI). ALPHA KAPPA CAMERA = photo sorority–obviously, and totally made up–wonderful. This was our second time to gather from all over the country. Who wouldn’t love to share a suite at the MGM Grand (and pretty much everything else) with these lens lovin ladies? A few photos below of… Read more »
