Ashley had made the long trek home from Knoxville for her bridal session and it just POURED all weekend. We decided to go ahead and do a few shots in her parent’s and grand parents’ homes and I couldn’t have been happier with the settings. I absolutely love photographing newborns… especially when I have the chance to capture them and their proud parents in their own environment. You might hear this called a ‘lifestyle’ session… it’s uniqueness is photographing your LIFE as it is, usually in your home or a place special to you, instead of more posed and in a studio environment. What a blessing these past few weeks have been… inspiration (and conviction) hitting me in the face from everywhere! It’s funny how much more you can see and be receptive to when you’re not glued to a computer til 2 am. :) Mike Larson spoke at the Nashville PUG yesterday.
