It was the absolutely most beautiful January day in Austin. I met sweet Alison years ago when we both worked at Southern Living, in Birmingham. I had the best time photographing these two last fall for their engagement session and their wedding weekend in Texas couldn’t have been any more perfect! The flowers were some of the prettiest I have EVER seen, so unique! Their ceremony was held in the Smith Family Chapel (which happens to be where Jessica Simpson… Read more »

Newborns are possibly my favorite. So tiny, so much to look forward too… a new person that has never existed before, created by two people who love each other. It’s such a sweet time and time that you can’t get back. I love to capture these little ones in their home, their own environment where everyone is more comfortable. Here are a few favorites from Copeland’s first photo session. You can view more from their gallery here.
It’s always nice to have some fresh new head shots when you’ve got a fresh new cut and the most adorable tattoo ever! She has a contagious smile, laugh and positive attitude. High-five for being so awesome, friend. Some favorites from my morning with local photographer Allison Campbell… shot in and around the farmhouse.
