2010, What took you so long?

HAPPY NEW YEAR! It seems a common theme around my close friends and family to be happy to see 2009 leave and have a fresh new start. a pretty big deal for little ole me

Just a quick post on this Monday, as I’m recouping from actually being IN a wedding this past weekend {more on that fabulous-ness to come!} … I was so excited to get an email from the creators of White Thread {a fabulous blog featuring weddings and details in and from the Carolinas}. Special K: Kinsley Marie

Okay, so she’s 6 weeks old now, and I’m just getting to post her debut session. Hope I made up for my lack of auntie blogging dedication with the 500-ish photos captured during her first few days. Alpha Kappa Camera

Quick update: I’m in Charleston, South Carolina on an amazing retreat/shooting extravaganza/vacay with 8 other photographers from all parts of the country. Most of us had never met before, or had met just one other person… pretty much the trip is like a week-long blind date… and couldn’t be more fun!
